Official Saving Grace Response
These guidelines keep this a place where families can speak openly and still feel safe. They apply to everyone — parents, learners, and Saving Grace staff.
The short version
Be kind. Protect children's privacy. Say what you actually think.
Honest feedback is welcome
This is not a marketing channel. If something about Saving Grace is not working for your family, say so here. Critical posts are not removed for being critical — a community that only permits praise is worth nothing to the parent trying to make a real decision. We would rather hear it, answer it, and fix it.
What we do remove is content that breaks the rules below, whatever opinion it carries.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, threats, personal attacks or abuse.
- Hate speech, or content targeting anyone for who they are.
- Anything that identifies another family's child, or shares their results, reports, behaviour or circumstances.
- Confidential school information, or documents that are not yours to share.
- Impersonating a Saving Grace staff member, another parent, or the school itself.
- Spam, promotional posting, and advertising unrelated to home education.
- Malicious links or files.
About your own child
You may of course discuss your own child. Please think before posting their full name, their school work, their photograph or their difficulties in a public forum — the internet keeps things for a long time, and your child will one day be an adult who did not choose to have that published. The grade communities are private to verified Saving Grace parents and are the better place for anything specific.
How moderation works
Moderators can hide, edit, lock or remove posts that break these guidelines, and can suspend accounts that repeatedly do. Every moderation action is logged with the moderator, the action, the time and the reason.
If your post is removed and you believe that was wrong, reply here or contact us. We will tell you which guideline applied.
Telling official information from parent advice
Replies marked Official Saving Grace Response are the school speaking. Everything else is a parent's own view, offered in good faith — valuable, but not school policy. Check anything that affects fees, registration or examinations against an official source before you act on it.
