The short answer
Complete the online registration form on the main website or email info@savinggraceeducation.co.za. Grades 1–9 have open enrolment — you can join at any point in the year. After acceptance the school sets you up on Canvas and runs a parent orientation.
Enrolment is deliberately simple, and for most grades there is no waiting for a new year to start.
Open enrolment
Grades 1 to 9 have open enrolment with unlimited intake — join at any time during the year. Mid-year moves are possible for other grades too, depending on grade and curriculum, but your child will need to catch up on the work already covered.
What the form asks for
- Who is applying — learner, parent, tutor, study group or other
- The learner’s name and date of birth
- Parent or guardian name and contact details
- Preferred language, English or Afrikaans
- Curriculum and grade — CAPS, Cambridge, Special Needs, Remedial CAPS, or the Learning to Read course
- The year you are enrolling for
- How you heard about Saving Grace
What happens next
Once your application is accepted, Saving Grace takes you through Canvas setup, access to resources, and a parent orientation. You can also start the process by emailing info@savinggraceeducation.co.za.
The part that is not us
Enrolling with Saving Grace is not the same as registering for home education. South African law requires you to register your child with your Provincial Department of Education. Saving Grace provides documentation to guide you through that, but the registration is yours to make. See Is Saving Grace registered? for how the two fit together.
Costs at enrolment
