The short answer
The community has three parts: forums where you ask questions and get answers from staff and other parents, a Knowledge Base of written answers you can read at any hour, and a private feedback line straight to the Saving Grace team.
Most questions a homeschooling family has are questions another family has already asked. This community exists so that the answer is written down once and findable afterwards, instead of living in somebody’s inbox.
The forums
The forums are where questions get asked. Some areas are open to anyone — a family still deciding whether to homeschool can read them. Others are private, open only to verified Saving Grace parents, because what is discussed there is about specific children and specific families.
Anyone from Saving Grace who answers a question can mark their reply as an Official Saving Grace Response. That marking is not decoration. It means the school stands behind what the reply says.
The Knowledge Base
When an answer turns out to matter to more than one family, a moderator turns it into an article — the kind you are reading now. Articles are public and are meant to be found by search, so a parent looking for help at nine on a Sunday evening finds an answer instead of a closed office.
Telling us how we are doing
Feedback, suggestions and complaints go through a private form rather than the forums. What you write there is never posted publicly, never shown on the website and never indexed. It goes only to the Saving Grace team.
What to do first
Read the community guidelines, introduce yourself in the parent area if you would like to, and ask your question. You do not need to apologise for asking something basic — the basic questions are the ones most families have.
