The short answer
Create an account, then ask Saving Grace to verify it as a parent account. Verified parents can see and post in the grade communities and the private parent support areas.
Some parts of this community are restricted, and the restriction is deliberate. A conversation about a specific child’s progress should not be readable by the whole internet.
How access works
There are two steps, and they are separate on purpose.
- An account. Anyone can register. An account alone lets you post in the public forums.
- Verification. Saving Grace marks the account as belonging to a registered parent. Verified parents gain access to the grade communities and the private support areas.
Asking to be verified
Ask the school to verify your community account, using the same contact details Saving Grace already holds for your family. Verification is done by a person at the school, not automatically by the website.
If you cannot see a forum you expect to
Check first that you are signed in — a private forum is invisible when you are signed out, which looks the same as it not existing. If you are signed in and it is still not there, your account has probably not been verified yet.
One account per parent
Please do not share an account between two parents. When a reply appears under a name, other families should know who is speaking — and if the account is ever misused, the school needs to know whose it was.
