The short answer
Public forums can be read by anyone, including search engines. Private forums and grade communities are visible only to signed-in verified parents and are blocked from search engines entirely. Feedback submissions are seen only by the Saving Grace team.
Before you write about your child anywhere online, you are entitled to know exactly who will be able to read it. Here is the honest answer for every part of this community.
Public areas
General questions, curriculum discussion, announcements and this Knowledge Base are public. Anyone can read them without signing in, and search engines index them on purpose — that is how a family who has never heard of Saving Grace finds help.
Assume that anything you write in a public area could be read by anyone, including someone who knows you.
Private areas
Grade communities and the parent support areas are restricted to signed-in verified Saving Grace parents. They are marked as private throughout the site, they carry a no-indexing instruction to every search engine, and they are excluded from the site’s sitemaps.
That said: “private” means private to a group of families, not private to you. If something concerns only your child and the school, send it as feedback or contact the school directly rather than posting it in a forum.
Feedback
What you send through the feedback form is stored where only staff with the right permission can read it. It has no public address of any kind — there is no page on this website that displays it, not even a hidden one.
A request
Please extend the same care to other families. Do not post another parent’s situation, another child’s difficulty, or a screenshot of a private conversation, even with the names removed.
